Soup is synonymous with the comforts of home. It is the food mothers make for their children when they are sick and it is one of the staple comfort foods when the weather turns cold. Best of all, it is simple to make and tastes great!

Soup is just one of those one pot wonders of the kitchen. But don’t be fooled by it’s dowdy name and humble reputation. Soup can also be chic and very gourmet. It can be served on it’s own or accompany a main dish, it may be served hot but there are those soups which are best served chilled, there are creamy soups and clear soups, light and hearty.
